Muhammad Short
Business Development Manager
Muhammad leads on business development for ExMesh™ Engineering and works closely with customers across the UK and worldwide to address their physical security requirements, from protecting perimeters to securing critical internal environments.
He has more than 20 years of experience in the security and fencing industries, and has a deep level of expertise and wide-ranging, practical installation experience.
Muhammad understands the challenges faced by fencing contractors, security specialists and end users: he brings this insight to bear when working with ExMesh™ Engineering customers.

Ian Salvin
Security Fencing Estimator
Ian is an experienced estimator and installer, and his responsibilities include estimating, sales and technical support.
Ian joined the ExMesh™ Engineering team in 2018 and he has nearly 20 years of experience in the fencing industry.
As well as working in sales and estimator roles, Ian has also worked as a fencing installer, giving him additional understanding of the technical challenges encountered by contractors – and knowledge of how to overcome them!

Kalem Ainsley
Mechanical CAD Engineer
Kalem is a graduate of The Expanded Metal Company’s apprenticeship programme.
Throughout his apprenticeship, he worked closely with the ExMesh™ Engineering team and then progressed to a full time, permanent position with us.
He has extensive mechanical CAD skills, which support our product development and client projects, and he works closely with installers and end users.
