ExMesh Engineering has invested in a new CNC-controlled double-headed mitre saw as part of our ongoing commitment to strengthening our fabrication capabilities.

The new machine has been introduced to support the growing demand for fabricated aluminium solutions used within the ArchitEx architectural range and other bespoke projects. By making two cuts at the same time, it increases capacity, improves workflow and helps speed up production. As well as improving efficiency, the saw delivers greater accuracy and consistency while also reducing material contamination during the manufacturing process, helping to maintain the high standards of quality that we work to.

The investment will also help reduce lead times and further strengthen our ability to offer a complete turnkey package. From initial design through to fabrication and finishing, customers can benefit from a streamlined service throughout their project.

Philip Astley, Managing Director of The Expanded Metal Company, who ExMesh Engineering are part of, said:

“We are always looking at ways to improve what we do and invest in the future of the business. This new equipment will help us work more efficiently, increase capacity and further strengthen the service we provide to our customers.”

The addition of the new saw is the latest investment in our manufacturing facilities as we continue to enhance our fabrication capabilities and support future growth.
