Central to our operations is our core product range of certified high security fencing systems. We operate from a 25,000 sqm site in Hartlepool, North East England.
OUR HERITAGE
ExMesh™ Engineering is part of The Expanded Metal Company who has a rich industrial heritage dating back to 1889 and a proud innovation in metal manufacturing and fabrication.
The company was founded by John French Golding, the inventor and patentee of expanded metal. His first British patent was issued in 1884 and he started The Expanded Metal Company in 1889.
The company develops and manufactures products from their site in Hartlepool, which is a long established global centre for expanded metal expertise.
We are committed to developing specialist manufacturing expertise in North East England and maintaining and building a highly skilled workforce.
As well as the ExMesh™ Engineering’s security range, The Expanded Metal Company manufactures a wide range of expanded metal mesh products including architectural meshes, micromesh, foil, filtration products and ExPerf , a superior alternative to perforated metal.
