Project overview
A high security perimeter was installed at an industrial unit in Harlow, Essex, using our expanded metal mesh fencing system, which we supplied to our customer, Collinson Fencing.
The site had been experiencing repeated break-ins with intruders cutting through existing chain link fencing to gain access. So a stronger and more robust solution was required to properly secure the perimeter.
Product solution
Working closely with Collinson Fencing, we manufactured a bespoke system using our ProtEx 1 (2089) expanded metal mesh.
The system was then adapted by Collinson Fencing to suit the site requirements, incorporating a double-skinned configuration and cranked tops with barbed wire to further increase resistance to cutting and climbing.
Installation & performance
The finished fence delivers a significant upgrade in security compared to the previous installation of the chain link fencing. The new configuration strengthens the barrier, helping to delay and deter intrusion attempts.
