Our security gates offer robust, certified protection and are fully compatible with the complete range of fencing systems.
While they are fully compatible with our fencing systems, our gates can also be installed as standalone solutions. This makes them ideal for areas such as between structural walls, or where a gate is needed but doesn’t necessarily need to match an existing fence line. Their versatility makes them suitable for both new-build developments and retrofitted upgrades.
Our gates are available in a wide selection of sizes and mesh infills to suit different site layouts and levels of risk. They can be used for both pedestrian and vehicle access, and are available in single-leaf and double-leaf formats depending on the application.
Gates can be manufactured in widths from 1 metre to 10 metres, with heights tailored to your specific project requirements. Height configurations can also be adjusted to comply with certain security ratings or client specifications.
Built for Security and Durability
Every gate is engineered for long-term performance in demanding environments. Key features include:
- Compatibility with all ExMesh™ security fencing systems
- Lockable sliding latches as standard
- Full Mico Tindall Abryll locking range available (others on request)
- Single leaf for pedestrian access or double leaf for vehicle access
- Single or double skinned construction (to meet SR3/C5 requirements)
- Fully protected gate hinges with anti-climb and anti-lift properties
Our gates are designed not only to deter unauthorised access but to physically resist attempts at forced entry. Construction materials and hardware are carefully selected to balance security with durability, ensuring the gates perform reliably over time.
Certified Security
Security accreditation is a key consideration in many sectors and our gates are manufactured to meet some of the most rigorous standards in the industry. Our gate range includes models certified up to LPS 1175: Issue 8 Security Rating C5. Each option is independently tested to resist sustained attacks using tools such as crowbars, pad saws, axes, and hacksaws.
Our accredited gate range includes:
- ProtEx 1 expanded metal mesh gate – A1 (SR1)
- ProtEx 2 expanded metal mesh gate – B3 (SR2)
- Physically robust access solution for at-risk buildings and sites and can be easily combined into a secure protection system with our ProtEx 2 fence.
- Enabling two lanes of through traffic to move through a perimeter, it offers one of the largest security rated opening options. The security gate offers pedestrian access ranging from 800mm – 2m wide and vehicle access ranging from 2m to 12m wide. Available at heights of 2.4m and 3m.
- Can be fitted with anti-climb toppings.
- ProtEx 3 expanded metal mesh gate – C5 (SR3)
- 1576 expanded metal mesh gate (single skin) – B3 (SR2)
- 1576 expanded metal mesh gate (double skin) – C5 (SR3)
- 2089 expanded metal mesh gate – A1 (SR1)
- ArchitEx expanded metal mesh gate – A1 (SR1)
These certifications ensure that our gates are suitable for protecting utilities infrastructure, government buildings, transport hubs, data centres, and other critical national infrastructure.
lps 1175 security ratings
A selection of ExMesh Engineering products are certified to LPS 1175, the recognised UK standard for measuring resistance to forced entry.
Ratings like A1, B3 and C5 define both the duration of attack resistance and the category of tools used during testing. These classifications help ensure the fencing system selected is appropriate for the threat level and operational risk of the site.
Understanding the correct rating is essential when specifying perimeter security for high-risk environments.
