The Telecom security fencing system has been developed to address the specific challenges faced within the telecoms sector, where sites are often unmanned, remotely located and increasingly targeted.
Telecom panels are manufactured using 4097 large, raised steel expanded metal mesh, offering an open area of 87%. This provides strength, visibility and effective deterrence while maintaining clear lines of sight through the fence line.
Panels are hot dip galvanised to BS EN ISO 1461 as standard for long-term corrosion protection. Polyester powder coating is also available where additional durability or visual integration is required.
The diamond mesh design, combined with post extensions and barbed wire topping, helps to prevent scaling and makes the system difficult to penetrate. A front-face fixing option is available for installations where access to the rear of the fence line is limited, helping to simplify installation around live equipment.
As an expanded metal mesh solution, Telecom fencing offers a robust alternative to palisade or wire mesh fencing while also helping to safeguard the public.
